When you see "is the same", that means the left side of the equation equals the right side.
4 times a number. Set up 4x.
Increased by 2. Add 2 to set up 4x + 2.
10 more than 2 times is 2x + 10.
Solve for x: 4x + 2 = 2x + 10
:)
