Hey there!

Consider the fact that, in this case, Bo's paycheck is equal to 1 whole part. This is what we will use to subtract each fraction from.

First, we can subtract the fractions that go towards bills and savings. Remember that savings was done after the bills were paid.

(1)/(1) - (1)/(2) = (2)/(2) - (1)/(2) = (1)/(2)

(1)/(2) - (1)/(5) = (5)/(10) - (2)/(10) = (3)/(10)

Now, you can find, of 3 tenths, how much each of the three children get. We could write it out, but it's obvious that each child will get one tenth of the check, considering that there are three tenths to split between each one.

Your answer is
(1)/(10).

Hope this helped you out! :-)
