To pronounce your grammar correctly you first must figure our if it happened in the past or its happening in the present or if it will happen. If it is in the past it most likely will end with -ed like walked or I walked. If its happening right now it would usually end with -ing like I'm swimming right now. If it will happen in the future you will say It will happen or They will do it.
