Salutations!

Explain why fossils are important to scientist.

Fossils are important to scientists because fossils are like samples of the extinct organisms, to prove that those extinct organisms existed, they dig in deep into the grounds to help prove that those organisms existed. The death and the birth of organisms helps scientists to categorize into crucial eras. Through fossils, scientists can also describe how was the environment like in the olden ages.

Hope I helped (:

Fossils are very important to scientists as they help them to study about the type of creatures that existed on the earth and their features. It also helps them to study about the evolution of living beings to the current state. Along with this, scientists can also determine for how long have there been living beings on the earth.
