In France grapes are 1.68 Euros per kg. What is the cost of grapes in dollars per pound if the exchange rate is 1.39 dollars per EUro

(1.39 dollars/Euro) x (1.68 Euro/1 kg) x (1 kg/2.2 lbs)= 1.06 dollars/lb

Multiply the price of the grape by the exchange rate to get the dollar/kg unit,
Euro/kg * Dollar/Euro = Dollar/kg
One 1Kg = 2.2 pound
So we have, 1.68 Euro/kg * 1.39 Dollar/Euro * 1Kg/2.2lb
[1.68 * 1.39]/ 2.2 = 1.06
Thus, the cost of grapes in dollar per pound is $1.06.
