x² + 10x + c
calculate the discriminant Δ = b²-4ac a = 1 b = 10 c = c
Δ = 10²-4c
the trinomial below a perfect square when : Δ = 0
10² -4c = 0
4c = 10²
c= 25
x²+10x+25 = x² +2(5)x+5² = (x+5)²
