The expression to find the perimeter of a rectangle is 2(length + width). What is the perimeter, in units, of a rectangle of length fraction 1 over 7 unit and width fraction 1 over 2 unit?

That is 2(1/7 + 1/2)

= 2( 2/14 + 7/14)

= 2 * 9/14

= 18/14 = 9/7 units ( or 1 2/7 units)
