Living organisms have different ways of looking and feeding on food, so there are different kind of feeders in the environment. Three of the feeders are:
1. filter feeding: this strategy is usually employed by organisms living in aquatic environments. They use anatomical devices that act as strainers to remove small food items from the water. Examples of filter feeders are oysters, barnacles, fanworms and tunicates.
2. Predators: These are animals that kill other animals out rightly and use them as food. Examples of such animals are wolves, lions, angular fish and solitary cats.
3. Grazers: these organisms feed on grasses either on land or on the surface of water. Examples are snails, grasshoppers, hoofed animals, rodents, etc.
