Depending what the social issues are, you can typically address issues in the community by:
- talking to members of your community
- working together with members of the community to identify solutions to the social issue
- organizing an event where people can voice their concerns
- attending some kind of town hall where you might be able to talk about the issue and solutions you have for making a positive change
