Software Updates are important for many reasons.
(one): They keep the security of the machine/program secure....
(two): They fix any bugs that were in the old version(s), so that the machine/program can run (and work) properly...
(three): They allow users to enjoy the new updates, and keep the users attracted to the machine/program for long periods at a time...
AND
(four): Software Updates allow the programmers to add any new things that weren't in the old version(s)
