How did the expansion of the british empire affect the freedoms of native americans, the irish, and even many english citizens?

The English move toward for religious independence while Spain came for gold so in their judgments they were in the right position. The only difficulty is that they started compelling their religion to the natives. An example is when they pushed them out of their homes leaving them homeless.
