3 consecutive even numbers.....x, x + 2, and x + 4
x + x + 2 + x + 4 = 48
3x + 6 = 48
3x = 48 - 6
3x = 42
x = 42/3
x = 14
x + 2 = 14 + 2 = 16
x + 4 = 14 + 4 = 18
so ur 3 numbers are 14, 16, and 18....with 14 being the smallest
