Do the US do enough to protect U.S. corporations from the regulatory processes taken against US companies in other countries?

Due to the difficulty in regulating the economic climate and guidelines of foreign countries, the United States does not hold responsibility for those companies wishing to go abroad in order to benefit their own corporation in terms of profit margins and overall revenues.
