6 pounds of cheese?
2+1=3
1/4+1/2=2/6
2/2÷2/6=3
3+3=6

u have to have the common denominator which will be 4. you add the whole numbers and then u add the the one and the two.
2 1\4+1 1\2
1\4 +1\2(x2)
1\4+2\4
3/4
3 3/4
