Fatty acids like omega 3 are vital for several bodily functions, however they are far better when involved with the cardiovascular system. Omega 3 can lower cholesterol levels and keep the hardening of artery walls to a minimum. The diseases are Artherosclerosis and Arteriosclerosis respectively.
