$8 per yard of fabric
1 yard is equal to 3 feet
8 divided by 3 = 2.67(rounded)
$2.67 per foot of fabric
1 foot is equal to 12 inches
2.67 divided by 12 =0.22(rounded)
1 inch of fabric cost $0.22
