The author of this poem uses very descriptive and vivid imagery to convey the beauty of autumn. The term "burns bronze on the slated rooftops" is used to help the reader visualize the autumn sunshine shining on the rooftops. The various use of imagery and metaphors throughout this poem really help the reader visualize what autumn sunshine would look like.
Please tell me if you need more description :)
