Any number that can be expressed as the ratio of two integers, a/b, is a rational number

True of false?

Please explain

This is true by the very definition of "rational number". A ratio is essentially a fraction, or very closely related to one.

Note how "ratio" is found buried in the word "rational".

Keep in mind that 'b' cannot be 0. We can't divide by zero.
