This type of narration is called third person limited narration, which makes this a third person limited narrator. There are two parts of this answer to look at, third person, and limited. The narrator is describing another character, Pip. Because the narrator is describing another character, and not referring to himself, it's third person and not first person narration. Also, because the narrator is describing the thoughts and feelings of Pip and not any of the other characters in the book, its limited narration.
