The two words to be highlighted are: weary and wasted.

In this context weary means that the pilgrim is tired, exhausted, that he has depleted his strength and needs a place to rest, a place to call home.

The second word, wasted, in this context means that the pilgrim´s limbs, his arms and legs, are also exhausted from walking the path to a new land that he can call his own.
