a= 2 ft/s^2 t=3 s vi=4 ft/s vf=? One can use the kinematic equation: vf=vi+at vf=(4 ft/s)+(2 ft/s^2)(3 s)= (4 ft/s)+(6 ft/s)=10 ft/s
