Gold is a heavy medal. It has a density of 19.3 g/cc. What is the mass of 70.o cc of gold?

19.3 g/cc * 70.0 cc = 1351 g of gold.
Because of the fact this is written in g/cc this is a FRACTION. You divided to get this number. So, therefore, you would cancel out the cc of the equation to get the g, the g in this equation clearly means grams. As such, grams are a measurement of mass.
