This is just an example, I had seen Mr. Thompson at the club house for years, but it wasn’t until I learned about Mr. Thompson’s past that I began to include him to list of people I see as a hero. The importance of appreciating people history is also one of the things I learned. Talking to Mr. Thompson is what inspired me the most to apply for a position at the VA hospital.
