Frozen water has less density then liquid water how does this property of water affect life on earth

simply because ice wouldnt float.. thus the bottom of the ocean would be ice..and the bottom of the ocean is where life started( if you believe in evolution) hoped this helped

Frozen water does not affect living things at all unless were talking the polar areas. Animals get their water from the water cycle
