A planet is orbiting a nearby star. Suppose that the star’s gravity increases over time. What effect will this increase most likely have on the planet’s path of motion?

Depending on how strong and fast the Stars Gravity increases, the Planet will either slowly start to Orbit closer if the pull is minimal or if the Stars Gravity increases drastically then the planet will quickly get pulled in until eventually it'll burn
