To compare, Asoka was a very lazy ruler. He was a man living  in all kinds of luxury made by his grandfather. His grandfather was hardworking and made the biggest Hindu empire known as Mughal empire. But Asoka still treated his people with respect and did much welfare than his grandfather. He even said to his new generations not to fight any wars with anyone. Unlike Chandagrupta, he believes that being a king, you should know how to defend your kingdom. He has potential to expand his empire. He has a brain, big army and could have defeated Persians.
