We know the equation:
y=mx + b
So
9/4x-1/2y=-3
-1/2y = -3 + 9/4x
-1/2y = 9/4x - 3
-1/2y * -2 = (9/4x - 3) * -2
y = -9/2x + 3
Therefore:
b = 3
and the slope is - 9/2
