2x+y=5 -------- eq 1
3x+2y=4 -------- eq2

now, multiply eq1 with -2
-2(2x+y=5)
== -4x-2y=-10-----------eq 3

Add eq2 and eq3,
(3x+2x)+(-4x-2y)= 4+(10)
3x+2y - 4x-2y = -6
Cancel +2y and -2y we get,
3x-4x=-6
-x=-6
therefore, x=6

Substitute value of x in eq1, 2x+y=52(6) + y=52(6) + y=512+y=5
y=5-12=-7

x=6 and y=-7y
