In a nucleotide, we find CARBOHYDRATE making up a piece of the nucleotide itself. An example of the type of carbohydrate found in nucloetides is de-oxy ribose. Deoxyribose is a five carbon sugar {pentose} which is part of the building blocks of nucleotide.
