substitute with the value of n in the equation to get m as follows:
at n=1:
2m=-6(1)-5=-6-5=-11
m = -11/2
at n=2:
2m=-6(2)-5=-12-5=-17
m = -17/2
at n=3:
2m=-6(3)-5=-18-5=-23
m = -23/2
