Drawing it out from the top of the building as shown (we get 30 degrees because if the bottom angle is 60 and there's a right angle, 180-60-90=30), tan30=opposite/adjacent = 1/sqrt(3)=50/x Multiplying each side by x and dividing by 1/sqrt(3), we get that
x=50/(1/sqrt(3))= around 86.6 ft

If it's 60 degrees instead of 30,
tan60=opposite/adjacent = sqrt(3)=50/x Multiplying each side by x and dividing by sqrt(3), we get that
x=50/sqrt(3)= around 28.87
