I will talk about Byron's poem - Childe Harold.
Weather is very important in literature, especially that in the period of Romanticism. Usually, whatever the protagonist is feeling at that particular moment is reflected in the weather. When Childe Harold is feeling sad or dejected, the weather is gloomy and rainy - this is a common custom in the literature of Romanticism.
