Thomas Paine was a revolutionary English-American political activist and a philosopher who was born in 1737. He published “Common Sense” in 1776 in an effort to support the cause of patriotism. In the document he used very simple language supporting the idea to free from Britain.

Common sense is considered one of the most influential political document of all times, the Declaration of Independence was approved much later making this document unique in supporting the cause.
