The signal recognition particle is a cytoplasmic ribonucleoprotien that has an essential role in protein transfer in the body. The signal recognition particle prompts or initiates the journey of different proteins around the body. Removal of this particle from the ribosomal complex means that proteins would not get distributed to specific regions of the body to carry out their specialized functions.
