Citizens. Citizens were allowed to vote, to take part in meetings and to have political functions.
The requirements to be citizen were these:
- To be male
- To be an adult (more than 18 years old)
- To have completed his military training
- Descended from natives of Athens
- Not have commited some illegality that suspended his legal rights (like failing to pay his taxes, for instance)
