Answer: Option A

Explanation: There are two types of fatty acid one is saturated fatty acid and another is unsaturated fatty acid.

The carbon atoms are linked by the single C-C bonds in case of saturated fatty acid and in case of unsaturated fatty acid one or more double bonds are present.

Double bonds causes molecules to bend and they are packed less tightly. This is reason why the saturated and unsaturated fatty acid molecules differ in their shape.
