The Gilded Age refers to the period in the late 1800's when a layer of wealth and excess disguised poverty and corruption in America. True or false?

Hi!

During the Glided Age, there was a nice facade so to speak. On the surface, things were all rainbows and gum drops - but deep down, there was severe corruption.

Hopefully, this helps! =)
