The steps to citizenship should be made harder because as person migrates to another country, it is best to follow guidelines and procedures which are in a strict path in order to have the citizen provide compliance and his or her will of having to have the citizenship in the selected country. If it were made to be easier, it will only cause a lot of people migrate to other country and acquire citizenship easily without having to go to a path where he or she should acknowledge rules and such.
