Algebra I, need help on One-step inequalities. Please show me how you did it so I can learn. 3 problems. (The dashes under the less than and greater than signs is supposed to be the line under it)

1). n - 23 > 17

2). p + 14 < 9

3). n/5 > -13

remember, you can do anything to an equation as long as you do it to both sides

1.
n-23≥17
add 23 to both sides
n≥40

2.
p+14≤9
minus 14 from both sides
p≤-5

3.

(n)/(5)>-13
multiply both sides by 5
n>-65
