Negative numbers are less than positive numbers. Does this mean that the absolute value of a negative number must be less than the absolute value of a positive number? Explain.

No, because the absolute value of anything is going to equal a positive number so it would be equal.

No, the absolute value is the distance from zero, positives and negatives don't count in absolute values, it's all about the distance.

Example: |-6| > |4|
