Location is the position of places and people on earth. Location can be described into two ways which is absolute and relative location. Absolute location is not anything more than a simple point regularly recognized on a grid of the surface of the earth named a coordinate. Latitude and longitude can be used to identify a location. The absolute location of new orleans is 30 degrees north and 90 degrees west. However, relative location is the correlation of a place to other places. New orleans is situated at the place somewhere the mississippi river clears into the gulf of mexico which provides it easy right of entry to ocean and river shipping.
