The difference between cognitive behavioural therapy and trauma focused cbt is that cognitive behavioural therapy is a type of psychotherapy that helps a person change unhelpful or unhealthy habits of thinking, feeling and behaving. Where as trauma focused (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents impacted by trauma and their parents or caregivers.
