Ok so what you need to know about an octahedron is it's basically two square pyramids stacked on top of each other (one is upside down of course).

The formula for volume of a pyramid is Bh/3.
Base= 8*8=64
Height= 3 each
64*3/3= 64 mm^3 per pyramid.

64*2=128 mm^3 for the octahedron

Final answer: 128 mm^3
