Jennifer says that the lowest common multiple of two consecutive numbers is equal to the product of the two numbers. By trying four different pairs of consecutive numbers, explore her theory.

ok...lets explore..

2 consecutive numbers.....2 and 3.....the LCM is 6.....2 * 3 = 6....that works
2 consecutive numbers.....3 and 4....the LCM is 12....3 * 4 = 12...that works
2 consecutive numbers.....5 and 6....the LCM is 30.....5 * 6 = 30..that works
2 consecutive numbers....1 and 2....the LCM is 2....1 * 2 = 2...that works


her theory appears to be true.
