Nutria are known to live in warmer and often wet climates such as coastal marshes or wetlands in the lower latitudes. Given this you will want to select a location that includes both the climate and terrain type that Nutria typically inhabit. Once you travel to that location, you should look for nutria rat houses which typically consist of piles of grass and leaves that resemble miniature hills. You should also look for them AT NIGHT.
