In sun hydrogen fuses to helium and during this fusion it creates sunlight at an extreme rate. As per the estimate sun uses 4.2 million tons of its hydrogen every second to produce energy. This process with in the sun is an example of mass energy equivalence as the solar mass is converted into energy which justifies the popular Einstein’s theory of relativity.
