Sacagawea guided Lewis and Clark in their expedition of exploring and interacting with Indian tribes located west of the United States. Sacagawea told Indian tribes that they encountered that Lewis & Clark was NOT there to attack them and take their lands, instead they were told that the Americans came in friendship.

hope this helps
