This is a false statement. A direct conflict with this statement is the Myocardium or Cardiac muscle. Heart muscle is designed to be over stressed, considering the fact that it is constantly contracting, for the rest of your life. It cannot be weakened by over stress.

That statement is false

According to said principle, the muscle would most likely become stronger when it become stressed. Said principle stated that your body would adapt in order to fulfill the demand of your activities. This is why people who do weight lifting in the gym would gradually able to lift heavier weight over time.
