If the call cost 35 cents to use the card that leaves $12 that was from minutes. There is 4 quarters in a dollar, 12x4 is 48.
VERIFY:
$1=4
$2=8
$3=12
$4=16
$5=20
$6=24
$7=28
$8=32
$9=36
$10=40
$11=44
$12=48
