They were affected by the Crusades' as they also used the war to expand their territories to the east side, which they control or wanted to control. They were able also to get back the lands that they conquered. The Arabs lost their lands and experienced the same tragedy of the things they have taken. Though the Crusades were associated with religious goals of Christianity they are used by their mother land to gain wealth and power themselves.
